There’s an especially great crop of SUVs and crossovers that sell for under $35,000. Not only do they contain cutting-edge features, but they are amazing to drive as well. While many of these do offer higher-priced trims, their basic versions all start below $35,000.

1. Honda CR-V

5. Volkswagen Atlas
The three-row Volkswagen Atlas features good, decent looks, a VR6, four-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and above-average tech. The surprisingly value-for-money VW Atlas is one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its class, with a fuel economy of 26 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city. What’s more, its nicely-appointed as any other nice VW and has absolutely massive interiors.

6. Chevy Blazer
Seemingly coming out of nowhere is the Chevy Blazer is a pretty cool, two-row crossover SUV powered by two options for engines – a V6 with an HP of 208 or an I4 2.5–liter. The Chevy Blazer also boasts of an amazing infotainment system and connectivity as well as advanced safety gear.

7. Kia Telluride
The Kia Telluride is well-equipped, well-built, handsome without being too in-the-face, and comfortable as hell. The three-row midsize SUV has a vast amount of cargo space, is agile to be driven and parked around anywhere, and has a fuel economy of 23 mpg. The front-wheel-drive SUV has great handling and nice-looking interiors wrapped up in one of the best-looking exteriors that this car’s category and class has to offer.
