6 DIY Face Masks for Aging Skin

Face masks are one of the most effective home remedies for aging skin and also help refresh and rejuvenate the skin. 1. Bentonite clay mask
Bentonite clay is derived from volcanic ash and is good for the skin. Mix a little bentonite clay with rosehip oil and water to make a paste and apply it on your face and neck. Leave it on for at least 20 minutes and then wash it off for help in reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

2. Aloe vera and vitamin E mask
This is an overnight face mask that can be washed off the next morning. Mix one spoon of aloe vera gel with two drops of vitamin E oil (can be extracted from the capsules) to make a paste. Wash your face with warm water and then apply this facemask to make the skin smooth and help reduce fine lines.

3. Cucumber mask
Cucumber helps hydrate the skin and is also useful in treating dark circles. Blend peeled cucumber with half a spoonful of lemon juice and apply the paste on the face as a mask. Peel it off after 20 minutes and wash your face with lukewarm water. This paste contains silica, which helps create collagen and makes the skin look youthful. This facemask can be used every day.

4. Seaweed mask
A great home remedy for aging skin, seaweed has vitamin C that improves the elasticity of the skin and smoothes the skin. To make this face mask, you need a spoonful of seaweed powder mixed with two spoons of lukewarm water. The paste prepared can be applied to the face and washed off after 20 minutes.

5. Avocado-flaxseed mask
This is yet another overnight face mask. Avocados are rich in vitamin E and can promote the growth of collagen, and this mask is also useful for reducing fine lines and improving skin elasticity. You just need to blend avocado slices with 2 spoons of ground flaxseed to make a paste. Add a spoonful of honey and two spoons of cream to the paste and apply it on your face. Let it dry and sleep on it. Wash off in the morning with warm water.

6. Coffee-cocoa mask
To make this home remedy for aging skin, mix one spoon of coffee powder with one spoon of cocoa powder and add a spoon of organic coconut oil. Apply the mask on your face and neck and scrub off using cold water after 30 minutes. This mask removes dead skin cells and helps remove fine lines.
